Murselzadehs

Murselzadehs is an independent leather goods workshop based in Baku, Azerbaijan.

We create handmade leather accessories with a focus on functional construction, clean forms, careful finishing, and the natural character of the material.

Our products are developed according to their individual designs and specifications. Depending on the item, the making process may include hand-cutting and dyeing full-grain leather, hand-stitching with waxed thread, fitting selected hardware, and finishing surfaces and edges using appropriate leatherworking techniques and products.

Because materials and construction can differ between products, the exact leather, hardware, dimensions, features, and construction details are provided on each individual product page.

THE CHARACTER OF LEATHER

Full-grain leather retains much of the natural character of the hide.

Variations in grain, texture, markings, and color may naturally occur. Rather than making every piece visually identical, these characteristics reflect the individual nature of the material.

With handling and use, leather may also gradually change in appearance and develop its own patina.

OUR APPROACH

Our approach combines established leatherworking techniques with practical contemporary design.

Rather than treating craftsmanship as decoration, we focus on the material, construction, proportions, finishing, and function of each product.
